Install in Three Easy Steps

Slide plate behind loose faucet and, if masonry, drill holes for mounting plate screws. (Ensure that drilled hole is deeper than the length of the screw.)

Secure plate screws (with clips if you use a freeze cover).

Drill pilot holes into plate for hose bib securing screws. Tighten screws ’til hand-tight.

This was exactly what I needed to fix my problem! It holds the hose bibs tight. I replaced my bibs with PEX pipe all the way to the back of the bib, so other products that hold the bib from the back wouldn’t work for me. This product did wonders. The included instructions were very nice. Just a word of advice though, mark your drill bit to the size of the masonry screws included so you know how deep to drill. On one I went the full length and on the other I didn’t. Going the full length of the screw worked for one bib but not the other. My advice is to drill 3/4 the way and see how well the screw grabs before going the whole length. This product comes highly recommended from me. Saved me a real pain! Nice work guys! Thank you!

I always forget to leave reviews but this hose spigot bib thing was AWESOME! Our spigot has been loose since we bought it, no screws or anything (first picture). I finally looked into fixing it because I need to use that spigot for gardening and I saw this product with a bunch of 5 star reviews and relatively inexpensive. It took maybe 10-15 minutes to install with a cheap Walmart drill and flathead screwdriver. (Also drill bit for pilot holes). No one in the questions section had addressed vinyl siding, I’m here to say it works! So relieved this was all it took to fix it!

Love the clean fit of the mounting plate. Securely attaches the hose faucet to any brick wall. It is very nice that it comes complete as well, with all necessary hardware.

Awesome! I wasn’t sure anything was going to work as the mounting holes on the spigot were so close to the water pipe. With a 5/32” drill bit, you can drill holes on the mounting plate wherever it best suits your needs. It even has washers/brackets to use with the metal screws if you need the screw head to reach out further (did not need these for this application). I even drilled a hole a little too far out from the spigot and was able to easily redrill a second hole in the right spot. (If I couldn’t do the second hole, the washer/bracket would have fixed my error.) Used a 3/16” Tapcon bit for screws to secure the mounting plate. Hose Bib Buddy is not going anywhere. Permanent fix! Arguably the best product sold on the Amazon market.

Had to install on a poorly done outside faucet add-on that had frozen and split. The hole was drilled into the face of a brick so the grout didn’t line-up with the holes in the plate. By using a smaller masonry bit to drill pilot holes, the plate was successfully mounted and looks professional. Without the plate, there was no way to secure the new faucet because the brick was so damaged.
